I have to say if this is the letter they sent you and they are a company, it is not very proffessional. It may be true statements, just not very proffessional (sp?, I know). It sounds like you did something to tick them off. I do agree with their frustrations and I do agree there is 2 sides to every story! I am not on anyone's "side", but I would have worded the letter different for legal reason possibly or just to look more professional. I personally would have wasted the stamp, it was your lose in the long run. Just move on and forget it! and be HAPPY:laughing3:
To many strikes and you may be out of the business though. I am not trying to be rude either.

No you shouldn't do that unless you replace it with an **** so we get the point. Again I said I don't think it was very professional and they should watch their P'S & Q"S in doing this type of letter. That is all I have to say, I would have called them and ranted (if I didn't do anything wrong in the first place). Letting people know what is going on is the most important thing to do (wife's expect it, your job expects it 100% more)! GOOD LUCK!
I am not judging anyone here so you know that much! WE don't know both sides yet, which you have avoided to state yours? :blah5:  :occasion5:

I'm sorry, but at this point I see no signs that it is turning into any kind of a "rip fest". Merely disagreeing with the advice given or comments made is not adequate reason to delete a thread, nor even to lock it.

I wasn't judging you either. I would like to hear your side of it. I was a little confused as to why you would get an email like that.

    No Offense SMD,

But I have to agree with other posts as well. Your complaint was to vague, and you have chosen to only list the comments from I believe it was a recruiter. There is an old Police saying, that has been touched on also, there is your story, their story, and the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

Obviously, you had to inform them with Reserve status. No company I have heard of would morally, or legally stand in the way of that. However, it sounds like for some reason you got cold feet and left either after they paid for your training or something came up with your financial status. I have to tell you, that people come and go from training, and there is something much more going on than you lead everyone to believe.

For anyone (or Company) to be this upset, especially to the point to actually curse in a business format, they must have been some sort of dialog that lead to this action.

You have been asked a coupel times now to esplain the whole scenario, so members can hear whats transpired, so you can get advice, they can see if this company is really bad for potential recruitment, or if this was an isolated incident. Please set up this incident and explain everything from the begining....

Gotta agree with the rest of them.Need to hear your side of the story. No matter who you are dealing with you are only as good as your word. From what you posted it sounds like you made an agreement with them and then turned around and backed out.I doubt they are going to have words of praise for those actions.

I left the Steven's Transport seminar starry eyed, gleeful, and interested in their lease purchase plan. I did a google groups search on Stevens and read all of the horror stories, and decided not to give my soul to the devil. One thing I find funny is that they have this big lease purchase poster showing all the money that lease purchasers made. What they don't tell is that the money they claim to have made is over a ten year period.

It is your job to do proper research; it is your job to pay them back for training you. Paying them back doesn't have to mean going to work as a driver.

I'm a neophyte, but that is how I see it.

Please give more information about "your side of the story."

I am surmising as I don't know the whole story either, I would not blame you if you had a real reason to back out at seemed to be the last minute. Did you give them a whole bunch of excuses or the real one that mattered to your decision. Did you bother to call that recruiter and explain to him why ,or just not show up when training started. As far as a beggar is concerned,if that is so,it certainly was not called for at all for any reason. They don't give you anything for free nowadays and it costs you one way or another,i would have told him where to get off, they would have made plenty on you by your driving for them,or they wouldn't have trained you unless they were reimbursed. Good luck in the future. I am on your side for one thing, you have a perfect right to change your mind, after all,its better then than to quit after you started for both parties, besides you didn't end up with a big bill you couldn't pay back, maybe thats why recruiter got nasty with you.
