Bendix AD-IS Air dryer problems

    I don’t understand this is my 3 air dryer I replaced new compressor new discharge line all new fittings new air dryer new fan clutch cyl new gov builds air just fine no water or oil in the tanks no air loss but every time it purge air comes out from purge valve I can hear it turn off truck no air leak turn truck back on no leak from purge until cutoff why would it do that I need help please

    It keeps leaking from purge valve? Is the new govenor adjusted to correct cut out?

    ADIS dryer is equipped with a preset, non-adjustable governor.

    OP, make sure you have the correct part number governor, you cannot swap the governor with just any aftermarket one. I would start with truck model and verifying parts are correct for the application. Is the governor mounted on the dryer?

    It’s on the dryer and it’s preset to 130psi I’m wondering if I should buy the adjustable one and set it 120Psi and yes I used vin to buy at fl dl

    No do not replace with adjustable. It will worsen your condition.

    Call Bendix tech line 1800 AIR Brake

    Some ADIS are extended purge and continue to drain after purge. Could this be the issue?

    What’s weird is I hear it then once in a while I don’t hear it but you can feel all the time
