Company policy may be zero tolerance, but in a CMV it is .04. In a private vehicle it is .08.
There are other restrictions in a CMV on the last drink prior to driving a cmv.

I don't know where you get your information but a simple search for AZ CDL DUI laws will tell you that the law is .04 if you're driving a COMMERCIAL VEHICLE and .08 for all others. Please do not talk out of your ### and do your reserach before you quote the law.

I don't know why some people miss the part about driving a commercial vehicle and the limit is .04 and .08 while in your car but if they look and read they will see. -
.04 in a CMV, .08 in anything else. Any measurement of alcohol in a CMV under .04 WILL put you OOS for 24 hours at least as I understand it.
-
Not sure about other states, but in Wisconsin when they dropped the limit to .08, the limit for a CDL holder operating any vehicle, CMV or personal, was dropped to .04.

I have to laugh at this
And ask... Do they ask what kind of license you have before you blow, or after ?? Is this kinda like checking a lottery ticket and finding out you hit the multiplier, to a police officer ??
Thankfully when I do drink, where I drink. The Waffle House is next door, and the motel is on the other side of it.
Unless of course I'm so drunk I get brave enough to cross a 4 lane highway and go to the other motel.

If you get into an accident where someone is injured or worse, you will be tested, any is too much in this case if you end up in a lawsuit. That is one reason why so many companies do so much to discourage drinking of any amount while on the job.

My many apologies. I pushed the 3 instead of the 4 on my tiny phone keyboard. AND I DIDN'T THINK TO CHECK THE MESSAGE BEFORE I SENT IT IN .... shame on me. I truly didn't mean to insult any holier than thou truck drivers on this board.
I had posed this question to a local leo just a few weeks ago at a thanksgiving get together, and gave the board the answer I was given. Maybe he was confused. I'm sure if there are other confused leo's out there ... somehow a impaired to the slightest degree will stick with whatever your bac may be.
Oh, and if we are picking each other apart ... use the spell check. It really pisses me off when one cannot do such a simple thing as click a button
