Merry Christmas to all on this thread.
White Christmas in downtown Joplin MO.
Had to go out and shovel the backyard.
Chihuahua and Mini-pin got buried when they tried to go out.
You all be careful if your driving.

Most all of your questions will be answered, if you read from the beginning of this thread. I know it's a lot of reading, but it is very informative

Ok, I got to page 12 and had to jump to the end to see if you were still with JCT. Doing research on them now. Thanks for the info that I have read on here so far.
Mustang970, we live in Joplin as well. It was nice to have a White Christmas this AM. -
Just stop reading and make the call!!!
You'll be happy you did.

HOLY CRAP!!!! I get busy making money and the world falls apart!!! LOL I know this is going to come as a shock to those that know me, but.... I got a ProStar myself. Yeah, I shocked myself when I (quite literally) suddenly decided to do the upgrade. Mike actually tried talking me out of it, but I made up my mind before I walked into his office. Simply put, the ProStar rides like a large car, maneuvers like a cab over, and gets the fuel economy of a Prius. I grew up in trucking. I have a lot of experience with many types of trucks. This is by far the nicest truck I've ever driven. I've seen fuel economy more than once climb over 7 MPG. I have yet to see LESS than 6. (inlcuding running the truck steadily at 70+MPH in a wild overnight load through the Arizona mountains! OK, I fell under 70 when climbing and hit notably faster downhill...) I have completely fallen in love with the truck. Best decision I've ever made.
I am currently at the yard in Sapulpa, and provided I can actually MAKE it to the security shed in the morning, I will be heading northwest from here. I'm watching the yard truck trying (not very successfully) to move trailers around on chains. My personal advice to any JCT drivers that had thought about getting near the yard; if you can avoid it, DO SO!!! I-44 is pretty bad right near the yard, and it only gets worse once you slide down the off-ramp. However, the snow banks along the exit ARE tall enough to cushion the sideways sliding motion. Snow inside the yard is anywhere from 12-24" deep. It doesn't even compare to that nightmare up in Iowa a couple weeks ago (don't think I've EVER seen THAT much snow!) but it is still bad.herkyboy Thanks this. -
Guess I missed even more posts. I use DDL myself. I absolutely love it. There is a print module for JCT, and I've only made one minor error since I've been using it.

When you and I talked about it on the phone, that's exactly what I was thinking about. I should have jumped online when you called me, though. I think I'm as bad about getting online anymore as YOU are at calling people back! (then again, I've gotten bad at calling people back, too! LOL)Jarbo Thanks this.

Everyone that wanted a White Christmas at JCT got their wish and then some! I'm in sunny SOCAL where it was 70 today! The Mira Loma yard was jammed as always, but should clear out tomorrow.
