How to correct ignorance to HOS rules.

How do I know this paper is from the company? See how trust works for everything...
Simple fact is there is no regulation nor guidance that claims written permission is needed, no matter what you want to read into what isn't there.

 

One company I worked for gave us written permission. Or should I say computer printed.

 

I am saying you need permission and the law gives you that permission.
Otherwise I don't get your thinking.

 

How is permission given?
It could be in the company policy.
Not necessarily a paper carried with you.
Your statement might be correct but leaves a lot to be desired when the ---- hits the fan.

Which is fully in conflict with what you said. You say your company has to give permission out of one side of your mouth. Then that the law gives you that permission out of the other side of your mouth. Which is it?
