What is a good dash cam that can activate if your parked car is hit? I’d like something sensitive because my car has been hit/scratched for the 6th time today at my apartment.
I might want to move it from my car to my truck if possible or maybe just get a second one. I had one from Amazon that was about 60$ and it was crap. The files kept getting corrupted, it had parked car detection but it never worked.
Also if anyone knows how much it would cost to get a sensitive alarm for my car please let me know. Thanks

The Garmin dash cams have that feature. I just got a dash cam 46 and like it so far. haven't used it much though
Sensitive alarm is easy. A basic car alarm from Crutchfield will do that, just zip tie the impact sensor to a hard part of the car. It will pick up every little disturbance around the car, including a loud stereo driving bySnailexpress and JSanborn103 Thank this. -

I have a BlackVue 900 that has this feature. It runs on a five second delayed loop when sleeping, if any motion is detected while parked it saves that five seconds plus the subsequent 55 seconds (1 min) so you can get some of the before and all of the after of an incident.
One night while parked there was a lightning storm, it captured all of the lightning strikes.Snailexpress, SoulScream84 and JSanborn103 Thank this. -
