I run it frequently from SLC to Phoenix. I use 15, to Hwy 20, US 89, i-17.

Good!! Less traffic on the route I take then! (o:SoulScream84 Thanks this.

Yeah, I was looking at going 60 to 77 but I saw how squiggily it got northeast of Globe Az. and thought better of it.Trucker61016 Thanks this.

True but the traffic on 40 is heavy and I'm pretty sure there will be an accident and major road construction between Flagstaff and Albuquerque.Trucker61016 Thanks this.

This individual seems to be the type who asks advise just to disregard it.Big Road Skateboard and Moosetek13 Thank this.

And don't forget... today is Wednesday and the OP was on Monday.
Is the OP STILL trying to figure out the better route?
Even posting yesterday about this, that is a lot of time wasted to save maybe several minutes on a route.Trucker61016 and SoulScream84 Thank this. -
Most times saving minutes ends up costing hours.
Out in the west. The shortest route usually isn't the fastest route.Trucker61016, Big Road Skateboard and SoulScream84 Thank this. -
It depends on several factors, but there are definitely routes that the OOR is faster by an hour or more. My partner and I worked CO, WY, UT, SD, KS with food delivery, then went back to the patch working CO, WY, NM, UT, and now we're back into OTR where we spend a large part of our time in the PNW. You spend enough time and you learn the routes worth using, and those to avoid.I like manuals and Trucker61016 Thank this.
