It was just the lights in the corners of the headlights. They were clear. Dunno what they are called on those space aged looking trucks. My truck doesn't have those. I will take a pic next time. What is opti idle?

Have to ask, did you replace the seals along with the thermostats? Was there any scuffing/scoring on the side of them?

To be fair , in the engine manual it does mention to idle up to atleast 1k rpms when idling. But i think thats more to do with the engines rather than emissions.you are right idling clogs those filters up real bad

Use more straps and protectors then you think you need and try to strap every layer. Depending on the product, it can be slick and also kinda loose. No matter how tight you get your straps...some will prolly try to sneak out. Try to put another board under the very front and rear bundles to tip them toward the center. It will help prevent the migration. Check you straps and load regularly. good luck

I dunno why, but I have been on an old farm video kick lately. I've been watching all of these videos and documentaries about farming on the 1930s. Didnt get to bed until 0200 last night. Just a really cool time. Reminds me of ww1. When you had tanks and horses on the battlefield at the same time. My great grandfather worked on the ccc and I have a bunch of pics of it. Just an interesting time.

And then you have me, sitting at the TP terminal in Central Point, going through orientation and learning the bare basics of flatbedding

We may be at the horses and tanks era again soon? The way things are going makes me kind of wish I had a horse.
