When you say mode actuator what exactly do you mean? What is the problem with your truck?

yeah, the fan switch won't switch to floor, floor/vent, or vent. it will only do defrost and defrost/floor.

It should be there. Some where on top of the duct work past the fan. Little odd shaped flat on top thing, has a circle on top about the size of a pencil eraser I think. That is the part that turns to move the door to switch from floor, vent etc... that's all if memory serves me.

Ok, that is what I thought but wasn't sure. You need to remove the plastic cover that is underneath the glove box. It is where the small cover that you take off to replace the cabin air filter

those two are for the temperature and something else I can't think of right now. not the blower location.

yes, that is the blend door actuator for temperature and the other actuator is the fresh air and recycled air door

Ok, I have replaced the blend door actuator several times on my 2000 379 but never the temp actuator. You have to remove the glovebox to access the blower motor.

yeah, I did, I just don't see it. I did see a metal plate but I had to get rolling. I'm going to check that when I'm done tonight.
