The truth is, this gentleman called me one time and really needed a friend, he really wanted me to come see him. He had been out on the road too long and this was after he had divorced with my spouse at the times mother. I always thought about how happy he was when I said I would come and meet with him. But after furtherr consideration I told him it was too far for me to come, and I was sorry but couldn't make it. It was in the next year or so I found out his fate, and that no one looked for him after he had passed.

I always felt like a bit of an ### for not going to see him. I knew him pretty well. He was a good man.

I don't really like to think about what you mentioned in your post, but yes, I do understand that.
