I'm seriously considering the Ali Arc or Herd. A couple months ago, I had a doe head bunt my LF wheel and kill herself. Looked in the mirror and saw her spinning like a top. Left plenty of parting gifts for me like blood, hair and feces. I got lucky her timing sucked. I don't typically have good luck so the next one will probably wipe out my brand new radiator and CAC. Can't let that happen. Anyone running one?
Moose Bumper, considering the Ali Arc or Herd. Thoughts?

I know couple people with Ali Arc. It's a good bumper, but it weighs more than stock, for some people that might be a problem
ProfessionalNoticer Thanks this. -
Been wanting to get the “Magnum Sacquatch” for my tractor but all said and done it’s about $8k.
Not familiar with the Ali Arc but seen a lot of the Herd cattle bars and they look like they could take a hat hit.ProfessionalNoticer Thanks this. -

The Ali Arc are a nice unit and usually a bit better priced than the Herd units. Hit a large deer with the Ali Arc on a T800 and had no damage to the truck at all.

Herd or AliArc. I've hit deer with both at speed and never a problem.

I've got a herd on my 379. Hit a juvenile bull at 70mph ish. It did bend it a little, but the buck bounced off and I kept driving.....all good. They are expensive, but so is a wrecked truck and down time. Worth every penny!

Had one step in front of the old Jimmy last night cruising at 80. Not much damage, but definitely looking now too.

I found a used one that was on a bull haulers truck in south Texas. Paid very little for it and it had seen it share of battles. Some of Blair’s buddies polished it up for me awhile back and improved the looks of it a massive amount. They worked for hours on it. I really need to take some time and sand it down some more and polish it again soon.
Two of the bottom bars were bent so I cut them off. They are massive thick at 1/4 inch thick. I may eventually order some replacement tubing and replace them but I’ve kinda grown to like the looks of it as is. A bit Mad Maxish… lolol.
I haven't hit anything but a massive amount of bugs with it so far but I have come close to whacking an antelope on the backroads of South Dakota and a deer once or twice. Not long after I got it I ran up through OK, KS, SD, ND and Montana. Ran a ton of back roads and the amount of deer Ive seen I am glad I have it.
I would get the slam latch. Mine is a really early version and I have to pull the pin and unscrew the two big eye bolts to lower it. Not a big deal but if you’ve ever opened one with a slam latch you will appreciate it.ODR, shooter19802003, Vampire and 4 others Thank this.
