You should ask her what her schedule is, and then turn down any loads that get you there at the wrong time.

Oooooh that PTA stunt has been pulled on me as well and it really roasts my goose. The planner that did it was out of Jurupa Valley for me.

I just had a troutdale planner try to pull a fast one on me two days ago. I called in for a T Call on a delivery rescheduled for next week. Sure no problem the planner says. Next thing i know I've got my T Call and I'm also mysteriously committed to a hot expedited amazon load. Took a look at it when i got to the drop lot and called in to the now afterhours planner to get that pile off me. I wake up the next morning to my phone going off, and like a bad nightmare that load is planned on me again by the same planner. This time i can reject it so i do, but 15 min later my DM calls me saying they'll pay 50% extra for it. I begrudgingly take the load, even though I know im going to regret it.

And as always with Amazon loads, i did regret it. The origin dc was an hour and a half late loading my drop and hook, leaving me with 7.5 hours for 450 miles. I skipped lunch and was 2 minutes late.

I dropped there again today and no sign of her. To their credit the "B" crew that was on-duty did my paperwork in about 5 minutes.

I just had a nightmare at the Sam's Club.

I pull into the dock area and there is a crew replacing the concrete, so I had to back out onto the street and then pull in to the parking lot and then back down the driveway.
That was how it started, but it got better.
The manager tells me that he needs 2 other loaded trailers in the docks, which were parked on the side of the driveway.
I would have to drop my loaded trailer 'somewhere', take out an mt from one of the docks and dock the other 2 trailers and then put my original trailer where the other 2 had been parked. One of the other trailers also had to be backed out the driveway so I could get it turned around to back in the driveway.
Then I could leave with my mt.

And it's in their contract with Swift that they can do this kind of stuff.

    dptrucker and dwells40 Thank this.

Not that I know of, although it does say in the notes that the DM can pay us extra.
Maybe I'll ask her about it.

It's any of them that can do this, not just the one in Eagan.

    Nice day today, however.
    Well, except for the fueling.

A Costco load to Sioux Falls, SD, and they actually had an mt for me. Headed back to Owatonna for another one to La Vista, NE that delivers tomorrow afternoon.
My last experience with that Costco was not good. They also had me shuffling trailers, but it was bringing a pallet load to Omaha and then picking up an mt to bring back to them before they would give me the returns trailer going back to Owatonna.
Lots of work and time for very little money.

The fuel program always thinks I have 190 gallons of fuel, so it won't give me a fuel stop. It's been that way for the past week or so.
I have to call every time I need fuel, and then I can only get 60 gallons at a time.
Today I went to the Love's in Sioux Falls. As soon as I started the pump it shut off, giving me 1/3 gallon. Inside they told me that the pumps were shut off because they were bringing the other pumps on-line (most of the pumps were blocked off for some kind of work.).
When they came back up I had to call to be opened up again, and the exact same thing happened. 1/3 gallon and it stops pumping.
That was half an hour totally wasted, and I gave up trying to get fuel there.

I have just enough to get me back to Owatonna to pick up my load, and then get me to the Love's in Albert Lea.

We are trying to get me routed to Menasha because my 10 year ring finally came in. I'll get the truck into the shop to see what is wrong.

It's a rare story when everyone ends up falling in love, but the guy does not get the girl and the girl does not get the guy, the child is left unhappy and happy, and everyone ends up where they are supposed to be.

I don't think the movie got very high ratings, but I like it.
