Hello - I hope I'm posting in the right section -

We are looking to add another truck to our fleet and run it with an experienced team running 6k-8k miles per week - I wanted to get some feedback from an experienced team on truck preference - as current options for new trucks are slim in the current market.

Out of the following options which would be your preference, and if you could share your feedback as to what reason - ie. comfort/reliability/performance etc.

    1. 2020+ Freightliner Cascadia 126 < 350k miles
    2. 2020+ Kenworth T680 < 350k miles
    3. 2020+ Volvo VNL 670/780 < 350k miles
    4. 2022 International Lonestar - New

Our goal is to have our drivers comfortable and safe, at the same time we are looking at options that have the least probability of mechanical issues / down time. I currently have sourced several new options on the 22' International Lonestar, however their warranty and reliability track record seems far worse on paper than an extended warranty Cascadia.

I also wanted to hear - would a team be more hesitant to join us with any of the above options due to age/miles, instead of a new truck ie. 22' Lonestar?

Any feedback from an experienced team would be appreciated.

    Thank You

300to400k miles per year, buy new and don’t finance over 3 years.

ARI might have some big houses on the ground.
