I did my phone interview last week, scheduled to go in for orientation on October 11th, haven’t put my two weeks in yet at this company (they just made me driver of the month ). Will have to update hire right after I break the news to them. Will be going to Seymour, IN for orientation and hopefully working out of Coldwater, MI. Still nervous and on the fence, it’s a career move I should’ve been made, but some of the rules held me back. I have a friend who has been with them for over 6 years and he loves it. I guess my question is how does off days work, can you request time off outside your set days?
If I were you I’d make your pic and name anonymous on here… just saying…. It’s better that way… I am not familiar with how they are doing orientation at Seymour because I am not a Walmart fleet driver. I am a dedicated contracted driver and have worked at 5 different DC’s for them over the years. My favorite one was Seymour! The drivers and office personnel were the best! I still see a lot of the drivers at the Sams DC in Greenfield these days(I’m dedicated out of there now) Good Luck with everything!
