Maybe a lot of free time because few actually work anymore. Maybe the banks foreclosed on their house. Maybe they're fleeing from a commie state. Maybe they sold their place for a huge amount and want to spend these last days riding that train as far as it will go. Maybe they're fleeing from hurricane after hurricane. Maybe they're recording their adventures, hoping to cash in on social media. Heck, I don't know why, but yeah you're right, a lot more than usual out here....

Probably same place as mine. Smoking and drinking beers while all the kids ran amuck.

The only ones that I know are what they are....are the $100k+ 4x4 sprinter vans. Those are the tech kids that can now work from home. They sold everything and are full timers now. Well, the transient ones are easy to pick out aswell though......for obvious reasons. Who knows, makes you wonder though. It just sucks that now I have to compete with more folks for parking, as if it wasn't hard enough as it is.

on a similar note. I was going to sell my new dodge dually. It sits for weeks/months at a time and now that I sold my big toy hauler, I really don't need it as much. Thinking about buying a older 3/4 ton suburban and an older gas dually for farm chore stuff. Gees! The price of used trucks is stupid! Before I could buy both of what I wanted for $10k or less out the door. Now, it might actually be cheaper to keep my truck! I dunno what to do. I'm just trying hard to cut costs where I can. Not that I need to, I want to because I think hard times are ahead.

    Edit: removed the word homeless.
They aren't homeless, they live in a camper....thats their home.
