It has already happened in UT and ID. Large migration from the west has taken its toll.
The housing prices have skyrocketed. As have other consumer good and services. The people migrating in have sold property for very high profits, usually with a lot of cash from the sale. They come in and find housing prices are low compared to where they were, and buy with no questions asked. Get twice the house for less than half the price. Builders go “OH Yeah” and crank the prices up, and they still sell. The local population is now priced out of the market.

Pretty much spot on. The huge difference that is very often overlooked is, we are like 80-85% public land in Idaho. That means we only have 15-20% of total land available for development. So everyone pretty much lives in the valleys. So everyone is fighting for a very small amount of land. We have the most public land in the lower 48. Which means very little private land.DeereRunner97, cke, dwells40 and 6 others Thank this.

Man I have some reading. Update my republican brother and his wife are worried about covid and dont want visitors.
Yes that is a poke at him. He called about 6am the other morning telling me not to run all the way down. He broke both fibula bones in his legs. Had him up on air cast yesterday and discharged today. No spine or brain damage that was new. He's home resting and able to walk. But they wouldn't do surgery on his arm. Due to insurance procedures, they will do it next week. Makes perfect sense.
I'm trying to catch up, but thank everyone of you and your families for the thoughts and prayers. Very appreciated.
Again Thank you!Chewy352, DeereRunner97, Swine hauler and 15 others Thank this. -

AC ended up being low on freon. It's been giving me fits for awhile with leaks, fan on or off didn't make a difference.
It's thermally switched to come on at 215
Separated the cac from the rad and blew it out as best I could. Going to get some cleaner to clean it out thoroughly. I think what had happened was it got dust in it and when it had a light rain the other day it turned to mud and that's my main issue.
Looked inbetween the cac and the rad and didn't see anything. Separating them told a different story.Last edited: Sep 22, 2021
