    Look up intermittent fasting.

Diet, exercise, blah blah blah….calories coming in need to be less than calories coming out.

Can’t get it under control? You’re fat because you like the feel of food in your mouth. This isn’t about trucking, it’s about discipline.

Water and tea, cut sugar, high protein meals once a day. Yeah it’ll suck for a month, but it will re-gear your metabolism.

    I thought maybe the 1 was a
    Typo .

gaining 45 lbs in a year is a lot

with a 45 gain, you couldn’t not notice because none of your clothes would fit anymore .

    gaining 145 in 50 weeks is 12 pounds a month .
Definitely not something you’d overlook or not notice, and it would take some serious calories combined with zero exercise .

doable I guess if you guzzle sodas all
Day along with a lot of carbs , bread and stuff like that .

right before covid hit I got diverticulitis, an infection in your colon,
The only treatment is lots of antibiotics and zero food , for three weeks .

I lost 31 pounds in three weeks .
And once I started eating again, it was surprisingly easy to gain it all back.

If you stick to a diet of No sugar and no grains , you will drop weight faster than you can imagine .
And that includes fake sugar .
    No diet sodas etc

your liver can’t tell the different between real sugar and artificial sweeteners.

losing weight is never easy. Your body fights you the entire time .

Vinnie Tortorich has a website with a list of which foods are acceptable for the no sugar no grains diet .

But figure out what works for you ,

Even if the 1 was a typo , you can’t keep
Gaining at that rate . Your blood pressure and blood sugar will be off the chart .

Meth works for me. Im never hungry, and i get like 4 extra loads per wk. Cocaine works in a pinch, but meth is the way to go if you wanna stay slim otr.

I lost over 130lbs since 2015. Gotta eat less and move more. No other way. I typically only eat 1 meal a day- dinner, after my shift. Black coffee and or some gatorade zero while I drive.

Then every day, I jump rope and do pushups. 10 minutes of rope before my preTrip everyday. And a set of pushups at each set of duals after inspecting the tires. Plus I'll knock out some pushups and body squats throughout the day when I'm taking a break or fueling (tip- weae gloves and tuck in your shirt so you dont touch the nasty ground). Works out to over 100 pushups a day. Keeps me feeling good. Some people look at me like I'm crazy but idgaf, I'm in good shape.

I also made a habit of walking for 10-20 minutes after dinner every night. Helps with nutrient partitioning. Walking is so good for you. I usually stretch for a minute or two after the walk.

I carry some dumbells and resistance bands that I hit up 3 or 4 days a week, when my new dedicated run lends me enough time, but Start more realistic! Walk, stretch, pushups, squats, and skip rope.

One mistake people make is they here ‘avoid truck stop food’. Not necessarily the issue, but can exacerbate. 1500 calories in one sitting at Wendy’s is still less than 2500 calories of snacking on peanuts, Vienna sausages, and ham and cheese sandwiches all day. Calorie deficit = weight loss, simple as that. Obviously some calories are better than others, but deficit is what it all boils down to. Opt for diet/low calorie options. I can’t drink purely water and black coffee, just doesn’t work for me. So I drink the zero sugar Monster energy to cure my soda/caffeine fix in the morning, and Gatorade zero in between. For snacks/lunch, stick to pre-portioned things like packets of tuna, *small* bags of chips, etc.

for dinner, calculate your target calories and the calories you’ve had throughout the day. If you’ve had nothing but zero calorie energy drinks and your target is 2000 calories a day, go grab that baconator meal if you’re up for it. If you only have 800 calories left, but you’re starving, eat a ham and cheese sandwich for 500ish calories and then add in a couple pickles for 5 calories a piece, or whatever.

also, space out your meals. Eat half what you normally would and then give it 20 minutes to settle. Your brain doesn’t know your full until some time passes.

This was my setup for tonight's post trip workout. Good shoes. Weighted jump rope. Adjustable dumbells. Water, fresh air, and stone cold will. That's all you need, no excuses! Get to it buddy, you got this

I second this. I like doing OMAD but even something like a 16/8 is good.

When I weighted 330, doctors told me I was pre diabetic. But I started fasting and eating less sugar and now my bloodwork is spot on
