Both hahaha i can close the spread and make it a tandem but it is fixed at that point. I need the spread because i can run 84k gross in montana and be legal as long as the axle groups are legal. With a spread i can run 40k on the trailer. Thankfully i have scales on board and have been able to play around with it. But my loads are so tight i just have to load it and go . Luckily my regular route there is never any open scales

Also could be maybe the scale is not calibrated on trailer. I have not payed attention to it much. It is a new to me trailer so it could be not working right and reading higher than it actually is
