Idk if this is the cause but after my kingpins got installed my truck has this running away feeling in the front. Maybe something else just happen to go bad same time idk. I would be driving and some rough roads when the tires hit that spot it runs away even if Im staring it straight and the whole truck feels like a boat in the ocean best I can describe it. I took it to freighter and told them to check the driveline and steering components and they said they found nothing wrong there . I got mad and took it to an independent shop and he was turning the wheels back and forth and notice there’s a delay in the wheels and when the tire reacts to the turn when you turn the steering wheel. He said the steering box could be the issue. Would the gear box cause this? Need advice thanks

If you have play in the steering box you won't be able to keep it going straight.

And that would cause it to run away at times?

If the front wheels are set toe-out instead of 1/16” toe-in then it can wander like that.
Some shops only replace parts and don’t align anything after they are done.
The alignment shop probably just says it’s within factory specs, but that’s not good enough.
