Can oversized use prepass?

In California, All Oversize must enter scales(if Open). With the exception if your being escorted with CHP.

Yup, on my escorted loads, CHP or Military we skip the scale, but all other oversize get to go shake handsDiesel Dave and Speed_Drums Thank this.

I haven’t seen a state that says you can bypass with a permitted load, except Montana. They let you follow the prepass up to a certain size.
maybe it’s just my luck but with the exception of Arkansas, Tennessee, and Wyoming I rarely have to show a permit to anyone.
I’ve run from NJ to WA seven times at 15’2” tall over the last year. This morning was the first time I have had my permit checked. WA came out and put a hight stick on me.shooter19802003, TripleSix, Speed_Drums and 1 other person Thank this. -
