I've built 7 or 8 Romanian kits I picked up in the early 2k's. The Donkey Dong in ugly, but practical. I usually sanded the furniture to clean up a bit.

I here you about seeing a man’s living hauled away. Not to long ago, was on a load that was exactly that. Didn’t know thats what it was until it was on the trailer.

 

Stereo in the pickup took a dump today. Eyeing up a super clean 1st gen Cummins and a couple late 90's RCSB Chevys in the classifieds. Seriously considering taking a look. I'd rather replace cab corners and rockers than dick around with computer crap.

 

On the plus side, at least you caught it early. If she let go catastrophically it might have been longer to fix because more parts required.
