Wife wants it to do stained glass panels for doors and cabinets.

I want for decorative vents openings on the HVAC and custom decorative metal tie brackets in the house. Custom cut tiles/stone for the floors (we are thinking an Escher pattern down the hallway). Also to make parts for the chassis of the next project car currently fermenting in the either of my brain.

So just looked up the ship I am supposed to be getting product from in Portland starting Tuesday.

Just watched a couple of tugs turn it around and slide it into the berth on a vessel tracking site. kinda cool. Only problem is they just slid it into T30 in Seattle. T6 Portland has been updated to Wed arrival. May see freight on Thursday.

T30 that is the good side of the port. The equipment side. I delivered a telehandler over there , headed to some foreign country.

The nearest "town" is about 5 miles away... but it only consists of a county shop, maybe 5 or 6 houses, and a long closed General Store, oh and a cemetary. The next closest town in about 10 miles away... It has a Gas Station/General Store, Post Office, maybe 2 dozen houses, and some Granaries.

About 13 miles in the opposite direction is an actual town with everything most folks would say a small town needs... School, Bank, hardware store, parts store, grocery store, several businesses, gas station, and a few hundred residents.

T30 is the side with the 4 hour lines down the street that stops processing trucks at the drop of some pigeon poop just so the trucks do not overrun the under sized yard and under staffed facility.

At least T18 makes you set an appointment so they do not get a major line or yard over run. Was plenty of scattered non-container freight on T18 last time I was there.

Checked in , unloaded and out of there in less than 30 minutes... T 18 i will never go there ever again. Spent 12 hours there 1 trying to get a container off my deck. F those people
