I also know that if you are pulled over a pit by the DOT you are less likely to be put out of service or receive a citation due to being out of adjustment. As a one truck operation who micromanages my truck, that doesn’t apply to me but it would help fleets stay in compliance.

Trucks got discs on it I love it.
They will stop much much sooner then drum brakes. -
Useless if your truck sees mud. Rotors will never last.

What would cause a rotor to start thinking on the back side?
The back of the rotor is very thin and the rim is starting to grove. -

The difference between discs and drums when you are 150,000+ lbs is.... noticeable.
