What if it Snows?

In the hospital for kidney stones……3rd time in my life . Can’t pass it so they are going after it tomorrow…..

won’t be passing any drug tests for a while……

 

So, when you get your Truck back, now that it’s paid off. Do you think you’ll wash it more often? Not trying to be critical. I barely wash mine anymore. Always headed into the tain, often a waste of money. I try to keep the salt off.I used to say, once it’s paid for, now I tell myself, once I rub it out, polish it up, I’ll wash it more. For now it’s only preservation of the frame I’m thinking of. Looks a lot better clean. The difference is night and day. Clean Truck always runs better. Fresh shower to boot. Double whammy. I know you get it dirty with the rocks. It will probably look pretty good when you get it back.

 

Add knife, hatchet, and axe sharpening to the list. Over the years ive gained a bit of a reputation amongst coworkers and friends as a pretty fair hand with a sharpening stone. In years past I would start getting calls to sharpen knives about a month or so before hunting season. But since startimg to drive full time that has slowed as I wasnt always available to pickup and deliver knives.

I'm super picky with my own edged tools. If it's meant to cut, I want it to be be shaving quality sharp. I actually won a bet several years ago... Guy i worked with said I couldnt take an axe that looked like it had been used for splitting stones and be able to shave with it in 2 hours or less, using only files and stones. The hardest part was holding the sharpened axe steady enough to shave without cutting my face.

 

Our best wishes to you. My wife’s had a large stone lodged in her kidney for over 20 yrs. Had some small ones the last few yrs. Don’t know if they’re new, or breaking off the large one. They don’t know nothing. Told her come back for a check up in a yr. She had another one month later. Good Luck. It’s no fun for sure.
