I have a 2015 Volvo d13 truck. It has 613000. The transmission light came on. The code is P105378. It’s saying the clutch plates. Wearing sensor. Do I need a new transmission? The only information I’ve got online is it might need a transmission system update programmed by Volvo. Anybody have this issue?

It's probably time to replace your clutch. 105378.PNG

If it’s the original clutch then a replacement definitely. Make sure you take care of the air dryer as well when doing the replacement. If the miles on clutch are not high then you can ask for an adjustment to go a bit longer.

Just a warning code telling you clutch needs to be replace worn down to much, try to have it done soon so it doesn't leave you stranded.

Find a indy. shop that looks clean inside and doesn't have a lot of trucks torn down every where in sight ,And they may save you a lot of money??

Update, I had my clutch replaced on my 2015 Volvo d13 ishift. I also had to get egr cooler and turbo and egr valve replaced. All this done and the thing won’t even run. Now it’s idling high and putting. The #### tru ran better before replacement. I’m in CT. Any help will be greatly appreciate

Are you receiving any codes on the dash? If the egr system failed through all of those parts it’s likely the dpf/doc need cleaned or replaced as well. Were any of the replaced parts aftermarket?

    Did they program the Turbo?

Also wondering if you have an issue with your DPF filter? What about any leaking on the Flex Pipe or Cac?

Did they change out the sensors as well when doing the EGR Cooler?

need a read out for the fault codes if there is any this is very strange for it to be doing this someone is missing something stupid or they never properly found the problem before turbo replacement.
