I'm with Kabar on this one. I never had any problems there. Infact it's been 6 month's sense I left due to family issues so I'm considering on going back. I did better there then I ever did at Prime or FFE for #### sure. I averaged 2,500 to 2,800 miles a week. Don't see what the problem is. Who did you piss off? And can't say no one because you had to have pissed in someone's cheerios.

I had a cool FM. I told him a week in advance I had to come off the road and he understood. He told me I did an awsome job and he would gladly like to have me back on his board because I'm easy to work with. Called them back a couple months later and said they would hire me back but I had to wait 6 months. Only thing is I'm trying to get out of refeer and go dry van. I did some dry van work at FFE and it spoiled me. The only compaints I heard from other driver's was on the Atlanta yard about log books.

Kabar, I have to hear this one. How? How is it going to affect "wanna-bes" out of the industry. Please quote the section that would have this effect, because I have not read it.

A big part of CSA 2010 is to weed out the un-safe wanna-be drivers. the one's who can't log legal, keep from getting tickets every few month. Run over weight and over hrs. Every driver with a CDL will have there safety record reviewed. Those found lacking will have there CDL's pulled by FMCSA. Add in the fact that before much longer EOBR will be in every truck that rolls and there will be a whole lot of wanna-bes that never should have been aloud on the road to begin with gone. The good news is that those drivers left, The ones who can run safe, legal and as a professional will be in high demand. Companies are going to be paying top wages to get them to come drive for them.

Yep, there will be a shortage of good drivers and companies will be paying to get them.

Kabar is half right on this issue. CSA 2010 will raise the bar on all drivers. If you're a WannaBe or a veteran with 17 years you will be under greater scrutiny. Not only for your driving record but your physical and mental records. Kabar is also right that this could result in opportunities for good drivers. However in no way would this have negative consequences for drivers with fresh CDL's that meet the safety and health criteria.

Wanna-be's have nothing to do with years behind the wheel. I know wanna-be's with 20+ years behind the wheel who have no idea how to be a professional driver. It will affect those who want to be drivers as well. There POV records will be judged and those found lacking will be refused a CDL. But this is a discussion for another post.
