Mexican dry vans

I bought 5 Atro trailers a year ago. Price not 28k. Bought them for 36 a piece. All Have been working since I got them. Came with aluminum wheels and haven’t had issues at all with any of them. The only thing I didn’t like is that tires are some off brand made in China. Last week I went to utility to see what they have available. There deals are ridiculous and I would have to wait 2 months for delivery. I will buy 4 more trailers from Atro. I can say they are reliable and AVAILABLE!!! Time is money.

We are a repair shop in Addison, IL and we just had an Atros trailer come into the shop to be inspected. This has a Atros home made suspension and it says trailer is 13'6" we measured it at 13' 9" at the rear. We can't adjust it lower because the air bags don't have air in them at 13'6". Looking into finding air bags that will work. The floor is 1 1/8" hardwood (not sure what it is but it is not oak) not 1 3/8 oak they also only installed 2 floor screws per board not three. We are repairing that. The bottom rails are set up for 1 3/8 flooring so they just caulked the gap. The crossmembers to not have clips, they used a 45' piece of 4x1/8 steel front to back and welded the crossmembers to that, we can't tell if they put Mylar tape in between the bottom rail and steel to prevent corrosion. Lights are installed with black electrical tape out of factory, we are now installing heat shrink butt connectors on all the connections. This trailer made one 300 mile trip in Texas and came empty to Chicago, we are at $2000.00 to $2500.00 to repair a brand new trailer. $28,000 is not a deal, you get what you pay for.

Thanks for taking the time to write this, so they're really cheap made, and since the suspension is in house getting parts will be a nightmare

NO trailer coming g out of Mexico has glad hand seals. We always had a bunch for our drop and hooks, they bring the trailers back to our Larado yard and the glad hand seals were gone?
I have no idea....

ATRO Estes 20 brand new 2021 units available NOW!! says the listing, from a dealer in Denver CO, 28k$ for the shiny new wagon,
a quick googling of Atro Estes revealed another dealer out of Houston TX that has them in inventory and available for sale right away, and further revealed that ATRO Remolque y carroceria is mexian semi trailer manufacturer.
vans are extremely overpriced now and dealers who have used ones don't want to sell them, only lease purchase at ridiculous amounts, a Utility dealer wants 60 months at 597$/month for a 2019, a no name dealer wanted 4k down, 600$/month 42 months for a beat up 2013 spring ride.

But something popped up on facebook marketplace today, a listing from a small family fleet selling 20 units 2019 Wabash duraplate with side skirts and tire inflation for 28k$, I'll go take a look at them tomorrow and see if we can work out something.
