It was the straps over the tarp that caused all that... My question is how did u go thru a scale house like that without getting pulled in.. I would not drag that trailer another inch down the road if i looked in my mirrors and saw that.

Hey now ! You see any rows of D-rings there to attach a bungee ? That’s the ONLY knock I’ll put on Senn, those 140 lb, 8 foot lumber tarps with no tongues for everything. They’re extremely old fashioned. If that’s the way their daddy and their uncle did it in 1955, that’s the way we’re gonna do it today.

…..Of course you can get your own tarps if you like.

A re-arch and strap would fix that trailer. But not sure if I'd waste the money on a great dane flat. They don't impress me one bit.

Probably wouldn’t happen with a spread that according to you is for guys that can’t do math

Nope. Pulled an 08 combo spread fontaine that would do that with any load 45k if shorter than 25 foot, 35 k if coil. Only 1 inch deflection though.

Basically if it lost its minimal arch, it would would do that

Seems like it happens more with trailers with steel in them vs all aluminum in my experience/
And it can happen to new trailers as well.... also in my experience. Not a heavy concentrated load, but it ain’t make nearly the impact as what was posted initially either.

But a driver can’t internationally stretch out a spread to induce it as was done with wagon op posted. Do the math.
