Keep same tire size and it won't matter as long as the other still have decent tread left. A brand new tire has about an inch of tread.

Well come Monday, ill either purchase 4 more tall ones or replace all 8 with lo-pro.

As mentioned earlier, if you change tire radius your gearing will change with it. Your speedometer will need to be adjusted as well or the settings in the ECM for it. I just converted from lopro 24 to tall 24s and my gearing got real long. I had plans on changing both diffs this year anyway so no big deal. Your situation might be different than mine though.
I hated those low profile tires with a passion. I'm glad they're gone. I also had to change the dipswitches on my speedometer to get it correct again too. My rears are getting replaced with remans and 4.10s in a couple weeks too. 3.55s, 13 speed and tall 24s are not a good combo for me. -
Its going to get mighty interesting if tires continue to dwindle in supply as we get into wintertime and the inevitable blowout from cold temps and a hot tire poorly inflated......wonder if anyone has trouble finding super-singles ??

I personally like 13 spd 3:36 rears on 22 tall or 24 short, 24 talls are just not a good fit there.
Other truck, 24 talls 3:90s and a super 10 works but id prefer to have a 13 or 18 in it, the 22 talls were a joke on her, she'd do 70, but have to stay near 1700 to do it, not my favorite for a c-15 kittyProfessionalNoticer and Brettj3876 Thank this. -
Tall 24.5 on the 99 with 18sp 4.42 Lol 70 is 1700 but in the northeast it's 65 speed limit in most places. The other truck is 3.91s on Lo pro 22.5s but that has an old 14613 RTOO .62 final. 1400 at 65

I cruise around 1600-1700 now. I make power all the way to 2300rpm with a 1.58 A/R on a 80mm turbo. If I flip the switch to 13 I have to be far exceeding the speed limit to keep it cool. Essentially, anything under 1600 under a load and it starts building too much heat. 9xxhp/2xxxtq E model with a 13 speed, tall 24s and 4.10s is my perfect setup. Can't wait until the 11th to get the rears done.

I personally have a different view understanding there are other variables involved
A 13 or 18 sp with 3:36 on 24 talls is what I like -
The difference is in your hp amd torque, you simply *need* to run higher air flow and rpm through yours, mines a stock 485 hpProfessionalNoticer Thanks this.
