I could get used to these 12-1pm deliveries. Got a 12:30 for Monday in Piscataway. Almost like a normal 9-5 :D getting to sleep in until 7:30 instead of getting up at 2:30-3:00am

We like it but it's the first one we've owned so nothing to compare it to. We're getting around 70 bales out of 2 rolls of plastic. We bought this to be able to store hay on rented farms where we don't have barns. This one was used & we gave 11k for it. I couldn't justify 40k for a new one till I got my feet wet so to speak. Our plan is to get some custom jobs next year along with our own.

That's awesome. It should pay for itself pretty quick that way. Our hay season was horrible. Just no rain and really hot. On 40 acres of alfalfa got a total of 2 large squares......total! Not good. Only folks who have hay are the guys way south of us who are irrigated. I'm glad that it's working for you. Sounds like a good system for the application your using it for.

If wildlife doesn't poke holes into it it works wonderful. Even high moisture stuff.

I've thought about getting one. But here it's either a snowy as hell winter or one with hardly any snow. Besides riding a few here and there I have zero experience.

I was probably about 9 or 10 years old and we just got 2 foot of snow, maybe even a bit more. I remember going with my dad to clean out the stone quarry and the road leading to it so the stone truck could make it up. Then ended up getting the skid steer stuck on top of it haha. The land owner came and got him out the next day with his skidder

It was a little over a mile up to the quarry from the main road and the skid steer was at the top of the mountain at the quarry. The land owner lent my dad his snowmobile and what a disaster Lol. He kept dumping it left and right, "snowmobile, I call this a stuckmobile" he says.

If you like breaking stuff and spending money, sleds are for you. Tons of fun. It's amazing the places you can go on one. You are just guaranteed to break something every time you go out. If you can live with that, they are a hoot!
