Can make a lot more money with Old Dominion; probably $125G for each of you.
Coffey, Aamcotrans and autopaint Thank this. -
DHT is always looking for good Teams. Great lanes, great miles, good hometime policy. 1 1/2 days off for every 7 out. Keep your truck, none of that 4 days max Hometime or lose your truck. Contact Sally in Mountain City. She is awesome. No BS just straight forward information to help you make your decision. Good luck

Thanx everything I've read about them has been good. I like their lane.

I have been with DHT for 1 1/2 years. I have NEVER been micromanaged once! Then again, I pick up and deliver on time every time. I don't get tickets or safety violations. I am polite and cordial to everyone in the office and shippers and receivers. 99% of my business with my DM is on the QC. Nobody ever calls me. I will retire in 3 1/2 years. Don't plan on going anywhere else. Good luck!Texas_hwy_287, Gearjammin' Penguin, Speedy356 and 7 others Thank this.

If you don't mind me asking what do you gross a week? I hear good things about getting miles but nobody ever mentions pay? Thanks!
Rocks Thanks this. -
I average 13-14 thousand paid miles per month @ $.51 per mile.... So $6500-$7000. I also take advantage of the Per Diem option. The IRS just raised it to $69.00 per day on Oct, 1st. DHT pays a flat rate per day following the IRS guidelines. They do not charge an "administration fee". I think it goes without saying, but, that $69.00 is off the top of your mileage pay..... not in addition to. As a team, you and your wife could earn up to $40,000 grand a year tax free if you choose the option. PLEASE PEOPLE...... this is not a pro/ con debate about per diem pay. It works well for me at my age... 61..... and tax situation.Chinatown, 1029384746 and Midwest Trucker Thank this.
