Apologies up front if this isn't the right area for this, as well as the mini rant at the beginning.
I'm coming up on my one year contract end date with Wilson Logistics, and to be blunt they can pound sand. Not only is the hometime NOT what I was told prior to signing the contract resulting in the loss of over 20 days of earned hometime, good luck trying to get someone on the phone if they're not your fleet manager. Some of the office staff like to play the pick up and hang up game with you on the phone as well as ignoring your Qualcomm messages and I'm done playing games when I'm just trying to do my job.
I'm trying to find something local in the Sioux Falls, SD area and am having limited success with Indeed. Most of the Indeed listings pay less than I'm making now (.46 a mile, just upped to .49 last week) and I could go to Walmart and make what they're offering. Craigslist seems to mostly be filled with those sketchy Chicago 1099 fly by night companies. Is there some other place jobs get posted at that I'm not thinking of that I should check out?
Thanks in advance.

OP, as you can see, promises aren't reality. You have to be a little flexable with truck co's. Because, they handle freight and it's just not that easy to appease drivers who seem to want precise home time etc etc etc. So ,moving to another co only means you have a different name on your door ! It's the same stuff.....pick up load, deliver load, call in empty etc. Your co. delivers freight, they do not stay in business to cater to drivers whims. I'm amazed to see drivers wanting precise hometime, minimal weekly $$$, newest equipment, and gawd forbid, NO-TOUCH freight ! In my day (famous last words) us drivers worked WITH the co. not against them. Football players call it "team work". I've driven junk trucks (on one load i changed trucks 3 times in 1 day !) to help out the co. Ran here, switched there, worked funky hours, whatever it took to "get 'er done". Luck to ya' out there.
