My wife’s knee is bothering her. It came on very sudden. 6 yrs ago X-ray showed no cartilage left. 2 super shots later, been good ever since. So now we’re looking for a cane. It’s that bad. She noted that for proper cane use, the cane is held in the right hand, to help the left knee. I disagreed, citing common sense. She assured me this is correct. Quick google search. She’s right, as usual. Still doesn’t make sense to me Apparently the cane and good leg together takes pressure of bad leg. Go figure.

 

My family doctor is my Dot doc as well. She gave me a three month card, put me on BP pills then retested and gave me a one year. I didn't know you could get a two year using medication to control BP. Man when you have a three month card and they strap the cuff around your arm, knowing your livelyhood is on the line is enough to give you a stroke. It could have been avoided if I had paid attention to it earlier. I seem to like the challenge of putting really important things off to the last minute.
It worked out, but the most stressful thing in my life was thinking about walking out of the doctors office and telling my wife I was out of work and couldn't even buy food for the dog.
