    Not really. Word is it was bad BGP routing. BGP is basically telling everyone server 1.2.3.4 is located here and go to router 1.1.1.1 to get to it. If you know what DNS is it's like DNS but for the actual IP address.

    The scrapping is nothing that Facebook doesn't handle on a daily bases and likely didn't even notice it from their real traffic.
