Yeah, I run mine in developer mode and have all that crap turned off. However, you know it's not really turned off.......never is.

Ever since I posted the seagull one last night Youtube has been non-stop recommending me these videos.

 

This is why some of us guys would go dark at night and leave lights off.

2 state patrol cars, 1 sheriff's car, 2 med duty wreckers and my 36 foot rotator covered in lights. I still have my legs by inches after a drunk driver rear-ended me standing on the tailboard disconnecting wheel lift from boom on a closed road. My boot heals left marks on his hood. Actually though I was gonna get to see a cop shoot someone. Just happy to still have legs.

Lights draw bugs.

Any updates on your engine?

 

well I have good news and bad news on the engine

good news - it appears that they will have to replace the motor (yet)

Per the shop - the air compressor grenaded - damaging the oil pump, rod bearings and main bearings

Supposedly, no crank, block or head damage…. Not sure how you damage the bearings but don’t harm the crank - I am not a mechanic so I am going with this for now

THE BAD NEWS

there are no available oil pumps anywhere in the Detroit parts system at this time and no eta
Also no rod bearings available either but the shop seemed more confident they could come up with those.

so, bottom line no work

I played golf today - it was down to 95 degrees and yes I played terrible

 

Man I know that feeling, just when you think you're gonna make some headway, a 'but' turns around and shuts it down.

 

The day after I got this, I got the virus. I wonder if it was trying to tell me something.
