Where is everyone #5

Used to be a few old timers hauling sugar beets n silage around here. But let me tell you DOT cleaned up.
They got at least 6 units harassing em again the last 2 weeks.

 

Wow. Nothing like that around me. Did the old timers fix their equipment or upgrade?

 

Naw it's all tridem end dump now..loggers come down south to pull em. Hardly see tandem anymore. I meant oldtimers for trucks...

Dot could make a killing around me. Its a rolling junk yard every harvest. But they look the otherway and only go after commercial haulers.

 

Awhile back I was reading that for some reason drunks and drugged ones actually drive at the strobes. The study talked about the benefits and pitfalls of strobes vs the old revolving lights. Can't remember where I read it, but made for an interesting read.

I don't run OD loads in the dark, but the way I figure it, if some jackwagon runs into the rear, kinda hard for them to win the "i didn't see it" argument, although they sure will try...

 

Gets light here about 6:50. As far as the sun, haven't seen it since last Friday...

 

Dot gives em an opportunity to check things out for free a couple weeks before harvest. Last couple years it seems to have worked.if you git nailed now it's your own fault.
