Check engine light is on. This is my first emissions truck. Tried to clear the code with otr device. Light still on. I was told to drive it and it should clear. Does this sound right or should I take it to a dealer. Thank you

Fault description says diagnostic is typically Aftertreatment Control Module (ACM) reported ash mileage is lower than the Common Powertrain Controller (CPC) stored value. It would appear you need Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link (DDDL) to set the ash volume.
Here is the fault description & diagnostic steps.Attached Files:

Thank you, I hope I got some time before I have to have it reset. I have 250 more miles on this load.

Got load done. Called support at OTR, turns out I wasn't using the product correctly. They walked me through it and the light is off and all faults are cleared.

What did they tell you to do mine is the same way

They probably told him the key must be in the on position with the truck off to clear codes. He probably tried to do it with the truck running.
