this is why i earned my CCW.

and i carry EVERY TIME, i leave my house.

i seriously hope, i never have to use my sidearm.

but it is there..."just in case"

i think it's a sad state of affairs, that we law abiding citizens have to be armed, those of us that do.....

but it is what it is nowadays, with the "anti-gun" crowd, seemingly oblivious to criminals having guns.

You’re crazy to try and pull a armed robbery in Texas. If the guy behind the counter isn’t packing heat one of the customers probably is. Seems the customer was a good shot as well.

They should give him free chicken and biscuits for life.

A lot of Snowflakes had a rude awakening when the Wu Flu hit. They ran to the nearest gun dealer thinking what they read on their favorite communist web site was true, that the gun laws hadn't passed and meant that guns were available to everyone, anytime, anywhere. Oops!

So, they b1tch*d and moaned about the laws that were preventing them from having a gun to protect themselves immediately, but a lot of them got their guns after a frustrating wait just like the rest of us did.

How many do you think know how to use them? They probably have their gun in one room of their home, ammo in another and an empty magazine locked up somewhere else. Have any taken any training to learn how not to shoot themselves or how to shoot the bad guy? Have they figured out an unloaded gun is worthless? Inquiring minds want to know.

    drvrtech77 and Badmon Thank this.

yeah, i was at the range in fact, that sells guns as well. one guy was really ticked off, that he had to fill out 2 forms, one for the feds, one for the state, and then had to wait....now get this....."up to"....30 DAYS.......!!!!

yeah, you see, at the time, the gun stores only had to send the form to the police dept, where the gun store was located....and that took 8 days.....

then the goobner, changed that to the LGS HAD to send the form to the police dept, where you lived.....

and, since the police depts were inundated with background checks, they (the police) went to the goobner, to press for LONGER waiting periods.>!!!!

i was laughing my butt off....

i had what i wanted, was getting lessons, and then taking practice "up to" 3 days a week.

when the pandemic hit, sure, if "they" were lucky, "they" got a gun, whatever was available, but NO AMMO...!!!!!!!

i actually did buy 2 NEW guns, still in thier boxes, from a married couple that bought them, "just cuz they were told to".....

    yup, kept in the closet.

bought each one for well below what they paid for them, plus got thier ammo for zip!!

yeah, the range manager that sold this one guy, while i was there?

    asked the guy straight up...??

"did you vote or approve of gun control"?

customer said, "yes of course i did"...

manager said, "well you GOT IT"......
