Hello ladies and gentlemen. Had a 4 day weekend at home in Waxahachie, TX with my family. Spent some time over our new BBQ grill with some cold frosties in one hand and a spatula in the other. Play some baseball with my little boy and experienced a super proud daddy moment. My son is 6 and just got interested in baseball this year. We have been working constantly on hitting off of the tee and he had learned to drive the ball. Where my proud dad moment came into play was when I got to see the moment that my son went from being scared to catch a baseball to staying focused with his glove up and eyes on the ball and catching everything that came his way. No more closing his eyes and looking the other way when the ball gets there.

Besides that I snagged a good load of steel from Gerdau in Midlothian, TX going to Sacramento and then a great paying load from Rocklin to Denver.

I am westbound I-20 in Midland, Texas at the moment. Installed my new refrigerator, microwave and TV in the truck yesterday before I left the house. TV turned out pretty good even though this TV is just temporary until my new one arrives next week. IMG_20211006_110316.jpg

Loose hose goes to the source. Hydrant, faucet, fire truck 100% of the time. I can't explain it, but it goes straight for the pump. You either shut it down, or put on your bump cap and start crawling the line from the source till you regain the nozzle. 3" master stream is hard to tame. Better have a buddy help.

I picked up steers at a guy's place. He told me I could wash out there. Said he had a tank and a pump....no problem. So my buddy and I pull up. He had 2 large concrete water tanks with a 4" line out that connected to a 3406b, with a firehouse out. So I Drag this thing out and open up my traps. I get in my trailer with the hose and he fires up the pump. I slowly turn on the nozzle....nothing. so I open it more and more....nothing. it was all the way open when my buddy found a ball valve that was closed. At that moment I screamed like a 10 year old girl. It took me off my feet and flung me through the air. I couldn't let go. It slid me across my cleated floor like a cheese grater. I swear I broke my tail bone. I'm screaming to turn it off and my buddy was too busy laughing. He finally turned it off and I was pinned to the wall. I was soaked and I looked like I lost a fight with a moose. I was so sore and black and blue head to toe.....sucked. my buddy had to load my trailer next morning. Rancher thought it was funny too......not me. Sucked.
