Some questions to the experienced crew -
    1. Have you ever had times like this where there is a shortage on new trucks?
    2. What lists, classifieds, or national searches are available for sourcing new trucks?
    3. Does anyone have any direct contacts of dealers with new trucks available / companies or fleets, that are selling their new trucks? if so and can share / PM info it would be appreciated.

    Thank You

    1. No, as far as a true shortage of new trucks. In the late 90’s there was a strike and Peterbilts were 18 months out for a while but that was only one manufacturer.

    2. Internet has many sources.

    3. Start calling dealers if you need a new truck. Having the money in hand and ready to go will help your process. You may get lucky and find one that had a cancellation or you may get put in touch with someone willing to sell their new truck, for a nice profit of course.

Thanks for the reply - have searched #1 extensively, have looked through #2 in my search, however haven't found anything suitable. For #3 what if there's a thank you finders fee included assuming I can make a deal with what's available? Are you open to PM information?

    Thank You

Must have 72"+ Sleeper, Open on make/model, prefer T680, Cascadia, VNL - open to Lonestar - 40,000 lbs at the rear, 200 gallon+ tanks, 5 yr 500k warranty, prefer automatic with APU - but open to see what's out there. Do you have something available? even if doesn't meet the above, feel free to message/PM me.

    Thank You

    Thanks Eddie,

I appreciate the reply as well as link - however none of those listings on truckpaper exist - they're all pre-orders, many of which are deep into 22' without exact dates, and several into 23'.

As for the 3 on social media - Steve and Zach don't have anything that meets above specs - do you have a link for Bill, I didn't find any listings for him.

    Thanks

    Eddiec Thanks this.
