Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
I want to be far away from home....

Thats crazy about Arrow, I cant believe that company would do that to all there drivers. They must've been some heartless people. One would think they could give them some type of notice as they had to know it was coming. But no they jumped ship, ran with there tail between there legs and left a bunch of people far away from home with no money for gas as im guessing that closed all there credit cards for fuel. So what does one do in that situation, I mean you got there truck, all your stuff in it, they just closed up shop, no final paycheck or nothing. Could a guy hold the truck ransom "so to speak" until you got your last paycheck? I know I would drive my truck home and contact a lawyer immeaditely and not let go of the truck till they payed me. Its sad and I hope all there drivers got home and hopefully can find another job. Oh and about schneider, last I heard yes they closed up there training but im not 100% sure but im sure theres some pumpkin drivers on here that would know for sure.

If I were the guy with a load being stuck partway, I'd want the driver to call the number on the manifest and get them enough money to get my load delivered so I can be paid!!

Na, it's not my FLD wish it was though. What does CSA 2010 have to do with a certain make and model of truck going into the shredder? There are some FLD's on the road in just as good of shape as the day they were built some even rebuilt and turned into some beautiful trucks with every nut and bolt gone over with a fine tooth comb. The FLD was the last "real" truck Freightliner built next to the XL Classic then they came out with the Century and Columbia garbage.

That's something that was needed just sum it all up into one short sentence rather than all the hoot, hollerin' and rantin'.

Why not invest in a new trucking company instead? I might know of one that's looking for funding...
