I have used the macro to find fuel prices along the way. You are correct, it only gives you Flying water prices, but there is normally a different brand close by. At least it will let you know what the prices are from state to state, etc, and let you plan accordingly. If you are in need of fuel, and it is 12 cents higher where you are currently located, then you simply get just enough to get out of there, and on to the next location.

As far as not using Flying J, I used it when I got my first truck and JCT picked up the tab. I fueled in Tulsa, and NEVER put that crap in the truck again. 4.9 MPG was all the W-900 got on that fuel. I willl admit that I tried it once in the Prostar, with little difference in the MPG, BUT it did drop, so therefore I will never put it in this truck again, either. (unless, of course, I have a real need for it) I have been having my best fuel mileage with Petro fuel. I have tried several of the other brands, but the Igloo seems to like Petro. Anyone else have a brand their truck likes the best?

    Hey, LMB
I was just wondering what you thought about JCT now after being with them awhile?
Are they a company to get started out on your own with or not? Or are they worth staying with permanently!
And before you ask no I have not read all 322 pages yet! In time I will when I get time!

Your answer is stated within these pages. Please take the time to research us b4 you make a decision. We have stated MANY times JCT isn't for EVERYONE. I can tell you that most of us that are JCT drivers on the thread are happy. So start reading when you can and take notes of ur questions. Most of them will be answered. Thx

My wife and I are very happy with the company, and the people we work with. There are no gaurantees on the runs you get, but as far as running team, I believe there is a little more advantage to the miles we get. I have noticed in the past two to three months we are getting a lot less Solo rescue runs. Which means, they have weeded out the ones that do not want to work. There have been times when we have sat for 24 hours, BUT I welcome that time. We go to a motel( the fancier the better) and relax. I have not had a problem with time off. It might not be on the exact day I request, but we allow for that. The only one that really suffers, would be my grandson that lives with us(19yrs old)He misses his Grandma's cooking.

    On a scale of 1 to 10, I give JCT a 9.98

So when your planning your fuel, is there a central clearing house type of webpage that will give you prices along your route? Do you get only as much fuel as you need for that trip? Does JCT keep track of what miles in each state you run thru for tax purposes and do you pay that or does JCT? Are there other questions I should be asking but don't know what to ask yet?
