For $17 I hope they were REALLY REALLY good.

 

Just have a good story ready if u get inspected... Atleast get creative with it and make it look good. Dont just go driving/run out of hours to pc . way to obvious... Go on duty for a couple minutes then write in "dropping loaded trailer, bobtailing on pc for hotel " or something like that something that makes it appear legal.... Not saying ive ever done that before....

 

Guy went into the parts store saying, "id like to get a rear view mirror for my Yugo". Parts guy said " Seams like a fair trade".

 

Well, after 12 years my old cordless tools have pretty much given up the ghost. I picked up the new Milwaukee fuel stuff. I got the worm drive saw while I was there too. Kinds stoked on a cordless worm drive. Also spent wayyyyy too much while I was there on supplies.

Sounds like today was crap for some.

@Hurricane69 , sorry to hear the news brother. That really sucks. I watched my great grandmother go through alzhimers and dementia. It was hard to watch the woman who raised me slowly slip away. Sorry for your loss.

@Rontonio , that sucks on your truck. Any word on a possible replacement/loaner for the meantime? I know you said you had a few leads.

We, an agent, a broker, and a few other people spent all day working on a load that we were to pick up at 9pm. Spent all morning on the phone, working out lots of logistical details for a customer that called needing a rescue for their load. Busted ### getting empty then deadhead to Stockton from Bakersfield, just to have the customer cancel at the last minute.

 

nothing on the replacement front at this time makes any sense given the price and availability of used 4 axle trucks
