Morris, IL at the TA.
Several pplans today, none of which I could do in the time allotted.
All counter offers were turned down.
Planners seem to think the times the computer gives out are the actual times I can do things in. -
Glad I left when I did. -

I'm at the New Boston terminal tonight.
They kept trying to get me to drop my mt at a place up north of here. My DM said to turn it down unless they had a load I could bobtail to.
No mt's within a hundred miles, it seems.
Did that a couple times, also turning down a load picking up from here that I could bobtail to, but the timeframe was not doable.
They finally accepted my counter times without making me take the mt 100 miles north of here.
That counter offer on the time for this load is not needed anymore, although I have to wake up earlier than I like. -
I'm at the Costco in West Des Moines, IA tonight.
When I got here at 1730 I was told I could take a pallet load or wait until around 2100 for a live unload.
Typical Costco stuff out of Owatonna, again.
It is 1 mile loaded (same city destination) with 0 miles empty, so I guess I will be asking for some extra pay on this one.
I did have a pplan come in this afternoon that I turned down.
It would pick up in Cedar Rapids on the 13/14th and deliver in OH at 2300 on the 15th for a live unload at a Kroger DC.
SO much wrong with that, and my home time is set for the 16th in MN.
It seems lately all the higher mile loads are sent to me just to make me miss my home time date.
One good news item, though.
My sister met the seller at the DMV this morning and got the title transferred.
I now am the proud owner of a 1997 Chrysler Sebring JXi convertible.
No dents or rust, and only about 60k miles on it.
I can't wait to actually see it in person.dptrucker, JOHNQPUBLIC and dwells40 Thank this. -
i40sb at an exit.

went back to.termimal to.pjck upload that I was taking to other driver.
on way back to.termimal was told we were going to Lupton az to switch loads.
got as far as ex 333 b4 running put of hours(5 minutes on 11).
got up this mornimg and got to lupton az to switch loads.
Will still be able to make it back to jurupa terminal today.jackoboyo Thanks this. -
I picked up the Sebring today.
It drives like a dream, with the exception of the mushy brakes. I'll bleed the system tomorrow.
The low beams don't work, although the high beams do work. It doesn't appear to be the fuses so it could be the bulbs or the switch.
Overall the car is in near perfect condition. The engine is strong and smooth, the steering and suspension are tight.
No dent, scratches or rust.
Worth every penny of the $2,500 I spent on it.
