Scania action
We are proud to announce the introduction of a 6x2/2 Liquified Natural Gas tractor unit.
With a lightweight Hendrickson centre lift-axle giving a payload of up to 44 tonnes and fuel tank options providing a range in excess of 400 miles, LNG now fits the bill of any long-haul operation in the UK.
Bespoke to the UK market, this outstanding piece of engineering also provides a major premium single fuel experience, with no requirement for diesel to start the vehicle and no AdBlue required for normal running.

Here's an Interesting article explaining the Differences between various Global Markets..
Why our heavy trucks are the way they are -
For example, they state that in the EU a tri axle on single tires is rated at 24 tonnes................wrong.
I'm, as are most,rated at 27 tonnes. -
But im either case is not correct.
In legal term most are 24t, in technical 27t. But also it is very rare to see 11.5t driven axle.
Most tractors has 13t axles. Scania usually has 11.5t.
7.5t front axle is often not enough for 4x2 tractor.haycarter, Oxbow and daf105paccar Thank this.
