You don't necessarily have to do anything wrong to be issued a citation. Never had one in a CMV in over 5 years driving. But......one ticket....rightly or wrongly issued should be taken to court. As an OTR Driver, getting to a court date is near impossible. $8.00 per week is peanuts. Why not cancel your health insurance? Just don't get sick or injured. You could save a chunk of cash that way.

At $8 a week. That's $412 a year and $2080 over the 5 years you've been driving.

If you get a violation there may still be out of pocket costs and no guarantee the attorney they provide is going to be worth a crap.

If I get a citation, I just find a local traffic attorney and let them handle it. It's happened once in 12 years ... cost me $800 for the attorney. At $8 a week I figure I'm about $4100 to the good.
