I didn't know running over a curb counts as a preventable accident

professionals do not curb tires

 

What company? Calling an “accident” on a situation where nothing is damaged sounds extreme.

 

I’ve had a half dozen this week. 3 just Today.

 

That’s bull and you’re a fool to say it.

Many people have no choice but to put these trucks in places they have no business being in on the daily. Engineers don’t allow for trucks in their designs even tho trucks will frequently have to travel threw the area.

This applies to both private property & public roads. Look at ltl & food service trucks, trash & septic trucks, equipment haulers/ construction trucks.

heck i remember delivering copy paper to schools threw out western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio, my goodness the tiny little back woods roads i’d have to drag that 53’ reefer up. Come to intersections where i need to turn left but can’t so i’d have to make the right & back down the street to get to the school.

 

If you were driving a single axle day cab and pulling a pup trailer, you might not be considered a professional in a company with stuck up a hole drivers. If hitting a curb is an accident then there wouldn't be a single million mile safe driver on the road. I'd say find a better company.

 

there’s a street long ago I came across savanna ga that had the center divider worn down because of the right turns trucks where making. It was a bad street because 1 mile down the road no truck sign was posted but I bet you it wasn’t the weather that wore down that center divider.

 

there are different degree's of "curbing a tire".

he claims no injury to the tire....does he really know for a fact he did not break a belt?

if the camera or other recording device "caught him", then it must be in the company rules/by-laws, whatever, how this curbing is to be classified.

he knew the rules, he had to have signed a gazillion papers when he got hired.
