??? I could be wrong, it happened ONCE before, but last time I checked mileage and pay were still very closely related.

Thanks for the mileage reports. I'd ask about pay but I thought it would be to personal. I'm thinking of starting trucking this time of the year (with Roehl) and I'd want actual mileages and not what some brochure or recruiter says.

Thanks. Can I ask what your paychecks are currently flatbedding? This is the division I'm considering with Roehl. If you don't want to post here can you email me at pennsy.357@gmail.com? I can't recieve PMs yet :)

Seems to me that everything we do for work is about the paycheck. Am I wrong?

National flat. I stay out 12 to 25 days and turn nothing down.

1780 miles for the last 12 months, average. 1750 miles average 4th quarter 2009.

Paychecks range from $750 down to $29.

$750, is that's per week after taxes? Is that also just for miles and not tarping?

That's why I made this post, I want to know what the actual mileage is and not what some recruiter or brochure is saying. I want to know the mileage Roehl drivers are getting. Pay is relative, every driver as a different pay scale pending their years of employment.

The danger in comparing paychecks versus miles in trucking is that many things go into a paycheck, tarp pay, extra stops, delay pay, layover, etc. Take-home can really vary widely depending on deductions, insurance, 401k, etc.

As for my miles, I have been tracking them over the past several months and I am between 5600 and 6000 per month. I drive van and am 7/4-3. I get a lot of excuses and no solutions.

Am I paranoid or is anyone else concerned that they hired Arrow's president to head up the flatbed/curtainside operations? They were so proud of their coup when they first hired him and announced it in their vm. I noticed though that they left that little bit of information out in their newsletter they just sent out.
