I'm having so many issues with my 579 paccar mx 13.Always dpf light is on and many codes about electric problems on my eld. Peterbilt dealer couldn't find ANYTHING just reset the codes and 7 hours later dpf light came back on. Any idea what can I do now??

I’d start here if you’re having random electrical issues. This is where they have everything bundled after it comes off the firewall and goes under the cab. Cut everything loose and start inspecting for any wires that have rubbed through. I chased electrical issues earlier this year and found 7 wires in these bundles had rubbed through.

Do you know what is this part for? It is on my battery box and i cam see there is a lot of corrosion on ir.

Honestly I’m not sure. But it looks like it couldn’t hurt to pull everything off and clean it up good.

The large starter looking solenoid in the battery box is an electronic battery disconnect switch. Micro control switch is located either behind the driver seat toward the door or behind the sleeper driver side outside near the frame.
