Yeah prices are high. I'm beginning to wonder if there's a reason the feller that had my truck got rid of it.

Eyeballed this one. Between so many dang issues with mine and 4mpg I've found myself browsing. Doesn't help that the paccar in dad's truck got 7mpg headed to Memphis yesterday at 88k running 70-75 the majority of the way.

Just got an update from the shop. Apparently I lost the front drive.

My condolences to you and your family @otherhalftw

Thats a good looking ride there @singlescrewshaker !

The shop still hasn’t pulled the head on mine, so nothing new on my end. Been looking at some trucks, but just can’t justify it. I love the specs on mine, just wish she was out of the shop.

Houston today. Grabbed a crazy good paying load of 2x4 lumber to North Little Rock to deliver in the morning. Gotta Toss the straps and tarps on and hit the road.

This would bother me. They’re going straight down the road. That has to be hell on the trailer wheels and tires.

I looked at the same one.....lol.
Tell the truth, I'm frigging terrified of Def trucks. Everybody I know that has one has nothing but troubles out of them. Those who don't are the guys I know that recycle their trucks every 4 or 5 years. There are alot of nice t800s out there in a price range I'm willing to pay. It's just the engine choice that scares the crap outta me.

Edit: alot of nice t800s in Canadia. I would like a Canadian spread on the drives. Makes it easier to work on.

I have a Cummins 2250 in mine and although she is given me fits now, she runs really well when healthy. Sounds like you’re in a tough spot as well. I wish I had a kitty in mine, but the price of gliders is mind blowing.

Not a huge fan of def trucks either. Sad part is that's what causes all the problems seems once the weight falls off its fine. The engine it's self seems to be great. Just not the crap bolted to it.
